This policy explains how Sturza Works ("we", "us") handles your information when you use the KinWord mobile app or this website.

Information we collect

We collect only what is needed to run the game and respond to support requests. Specifically:

  • Account info. If you sign in, we store your email address, a display name, and an optional avatar via our authentication provider (Supabase).
  • Game data. Word guesses, win/loss results, daily streaks, and friend connections, so we can sync your progress across devices and power features like leaderboards and multiplayer.
  • Device & diagnostics. Crash logs and basic device information (OS version, app version) to fix bugs.
  • Support messages. Anything you write to us via the in-app feedback form or by email.

How we use it

  • To run, sync, and improve the game.
  • To deliver multiplayer rounds and friend invitations.
  • To respond to support requests and diagnose bugs.
  • To detect and prevent abuse.

We do not sell personal information. We do not show third-party ads.

Sharing

We share data only with the service providers we use to operate the product:

  • Supabase — authentication, database, realtime, and storage hosting.
  • Google Gemini — generating riddles, hints, and definitions; gameplay text only, no personal information.
  • Apple App Store and Google Play — app distribution.

Data retention

We keep account and gameplay data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove personal data within 30 days, except for the minimum required by law or to resolve abuse.

You can request to access, correct, or delete your data at any time:

Children

KinWord is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app and the "Last updated" date above will change.
